We are committed to having a long-term positive impact on the environment and our surf community. Our primary business goal is to reduce our carbon footprint and provide sustainable products that are gentle on both the environment and you. As surfers and ocean lovers, we recognize the impact of the supply chain which is why we incorporate sustainable practices throughout all facets of our brand.
02. Responsible sourcing and manufacturing
We understand and appreciate your interest in our manufacturing practices, and we value ethically made products. Ethical and responsible sourcing is important to us which is why we ensure all of the suppliers we work with align with our brand’s initiatives and beliefs. Over the years we have developed relationships and support suppliers in Taiwan, Thailand, and Cambodia.
03. Packaging
As ocean lovers, the impact of plastic pollution is an issue that we hold close to our hearts which is why plastic is not an answer for us. Eliminating plastics from our supply chain was an easy option for us. We have chosen to use biodegradable, plant-based alternatives to eliminate plastic throughout our sampling and production process.
04. Giving Back
Giving back is sewn into the makeup of Surf F A R. We are dedicated to supporting charitable causes close to our hearts. Some of the charities that we have donated to include but are not limited to The Cambodian Children’s Fund, the Surfrider Foundation, Reclaim the Block, and UNICEF. We are also working towards being approved for 1% for the Planet so that we can donate 1% of our annual sales to the environmental non-profit that we believe in.
